Filmed live at Head Gap Studios, '(How Do You) Feel About Fallin' is from the new Brooke Russell and The Mean Reds album 'The Way You Leave' released 18th October, 2017.
With the launch of their second full-length album approaching on October 18, Brooke Russell and The Mean Reds have a new single releasing digitally on 29th September. A tale of love found amongst pretty bad circumstances, 'Take A Little Time' is about letting go of someone in order to do the best thing for each other.
The first single form their forthcoming album, Loose Change is a gritty tune about two friends, trying to change their ways but never quite seeing it through. With a full bodied, tannins-on-the-palate sound that sneaks from sultry verses into a soaring chorus, one friend asks another when it's going to be time for them to grow up for good.
Brooke Russell is lovely, talented and busier than a fiddlers elbow. Coming over from Perth a few years back, she has played a huge number of shows all over the place with her band 'The Mean Reds'. Brooke seems to write, and quite easily I should add, songs full of detail and colour and this particular track is no exception.
